I would call this opening a huge success – on behalf of Vienna’s newly renovated contemporary museum (which these photos were taken for) as well as on mine. Except for the fact that my first and only encounter with Austria’s president started off with his wife pointing out that my shirt was lifted while photographing them and him kindly asking whether I wasn’t cold (as possibly evidenced in their photo). Needless to say, embarrassed as I was, there was no talk of being cold or not. Other than that, I believe I managed the night without any more major mishaps and had a good time myself as everyone else seemed to have.
